gift guide : dragonfly toys
Whenever I’m looking for meaningful, practical and beautiful gifts for the children, I go to Dragonfly Toys. The small, family owned and operating business is based in Melbourne (you can actually visit their boutique in the Abbotsford Convent) and they have generously supported my work since 2012.
I’ve created Art with Preschoolers + Raising Competent Kids features this year and now I’m delighted to bring you a gift guide in conjunction with Dragonfly Toys. Most of these gifts are of the keepsake variety but there are a few smaller items that are both purposeful and inspiring.
- available in red, yellow and green, this metal watering can is a gardening, mud kitchen and summer essential.
- a nostalgic wooden sailing boat made for all kinds of water play.
- this wooden clothes horse is perfect for little laundry helpers and comes with pegs, too.
- circular weaving frame to encourage creativity, fine motor skills and quite crafting time.
- the ideal first gift for baby, this rainbow rolling wheel will fascinate and engage little imaginations.
- our stacking rainbow is so well loved and played with and the new pastel version is pretty as can be – make tunnels, bridges, homes and roads with the arches.
- 12 rainbow friends for imaginative play, dolls houses and colour awareness.
- most dolls houses are cumbersome but this beautifully made Fairytale Dolls House is just the right size for little hands.
- real tools for kids who love to experiment and create, this wooden tool box is a heirloom gift.
- if your little one loves to play with dolls, this wooden cradle will grow with them. It can come off the stand for younger children and you have the option of adding a cotton mattress and canopy, too.
- a tin tea set in a wicker basket for all the picnics in the backyard, at the beach and under the indoor cubby on rainy days.
This is a sponsored post. Thanks so much for supporting the businesses who so generously support me.
