45/52

“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”
Che: a big handful of popcorn for afternoon tea.
Poet: She pulls this face whenever she’s in trouble; it makes disciplining her very hard.

Our next door neighbours recently moved out and didn’t want to take their trampoline with them. It now resides in our backyard and every afternoon we head down there with crayons, an art book and some snacks. Lucky for me the light is particularly special at the time.
I do love this diptych – eyes closed in b+w.

My brothers and I loved hanging out on the trampoline when we were kids. So many of my memories involve our backyard trampoline. These are beautiful shots of your little ones. Poet's face is adorable. Have a lovely weekend. Melinda x

    Beautiful photos.
Strangely Poet's face looks a lot like my little guy face when he is intentionally trying to smile for a photo…eyes closed with a little grin.

It's a beautiful outlook, especially at the moment as the Jacaranda is in bloom. But when it's windy? – slightly unnerving x

loving your 45/52. and smiling at how Poet's eyes are 'almost closed'…children just find it impossible to close their eyes don't they?! unless properly napping 🙂 and p.s. free trampoline? how cool! x

Ah those good old 'protection free' trampolines that we had when we were kids! Aren't our children so bubbled these days? Bring back the skin-pinching times I say! And Poet, oh my, how would you ever possibly get mad at that one? x
