“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012.”
Che: Within moments of arriving he was submerged in the water; ten minutes later he was shivering and blue. After chasing Daniel along the beach he rested on the warm rock wall.
Poet: She stole the marmalade toast from my plate and tried to get away.

Marmalade toast is one of my favourite morning treats. If you and your household love it I highly recommend you read Marmaduke Duck and the Marmalade Jam.

Wow, both of these are stunning. First one looks so dreamy, like che just woke from a little doze. Poet's curls are really coming along now. I think she has secured your mum's curly hair gene! Just lovely.

I was hoping that Mum's curls would be passed down! You should see Poet's hair at the back – tight ringlets (that make me oh so happy!) x

I always wonder if kids can feel the cold? They always seem happy to jump in the water when us big kids wouldn't dare! And you must laugh constantly at Poet's antics. I do!

Oh we are marmalade lovers here too. After scanning the white elephant tables and the second hand clothes at fetes I always head to the jam stalls. Have you had cumquat marmalade? If I find a jar of that it's a very good day 🙂 I like my marmalade a little tart x
