“A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2014.”
Poet: she followed my into the neighbours garden one cold, cold morning and together we picked lemons. She’s carrying “Little Ted” – a bear given to me by my Dad’s best friend when I was a baby. Little Ted travelled all the way from England to Australia in 1987 and these days he’s either in Poet’s arms or lying beside her in bed.
Poet’s hat is from Typically Red (a hand-me-down from Lalie) and her jumper is from babaa (it fits for a second winter – yes!).

So precious.
i am slightly envious of all her bundling up
beautiful composition!
What a great shot. The colour and atmosphere is beautiful!
I love that shot. Poet's face looks so curious and explorative. And the lighting is absolutely perfect.
Jodi – which lens(es) are you using these days?
I wish I could make my girl wear some of those hats Poet have!
But that's way out of my control these days 😉 Teens. hah.
I love that she has your Ted. I still have mine made way back in 1968, it was one of the last things my Grandmother made (she died three months after I was born)
Lovely shot, the eye is drawn straight to the red hat in the centre. A perfect spot of colour in a frosty landscape!
Oh wow, this makes me long for cooler days!
I love this one, Jodi. Kellie xx
