I’ve always been a skirt + top girl but in the past few years I’ve really embraced the dress. Why? It’s easy!
Despite the fact that spring is new and it is still quite wintry, I’ve worn this gorgeous linen number a few times. The cut is really flattering, it has pockets (always a plus!) and there’s room for my growing belly.
And, because my feet are as narrow as can be (and because most sandals look like clowns shoes on me) I’ve fallen head over heels for these gorgeous leather sandals that will be my go to over the next few months. I loathe shoe shopping so I’m particularly grateful that I don’t have to think about it (but I do have to think about a pedicure).
this post is not sponsored but the items I’m wearing were gifted

Beautiful and so comfortable looking! I love dresses in summer, but agh I HATE wearing stockings so in winter I'm strictly a jeans girl. Another reason why I can't wait for summer :).
So lovely, Jodi.
Hugs,
Ronnie xo
Well clearly I need that dress… 'Alba!' 🙂 xo
I thought of you when I realised what it was called x
Absolutely love this outfit! I am pretty much head over heels for linen. My staple is a Japanese style apron with a blouse and leggings underneath (perfect for pregnancy!). I love the cut of this little dress though! It's the end of summer here and I'm feeling the need to get as much summer wearing done as possible before rainy season comes and I'm stuck in a raincoat and gumboots for the next 6 months!
Ooh, am in the market for some new light weight sandals – have worn holes in my last pair. You look so happy, Jodi! Belated congratulations on the sweet bump news…Seeing your photos at the beach have reminded me to ask you…We are heading up to the Central Coast with the littles and my parents end of next February (and am very excited to hit up some of your day tripping suggestions). Just looking into where to stay and wondering where some of the best places might be? I'm not familiar with the Central Coast much at all….xxx
Ps. It's so daggy, but we're actually heading up there as K & I have tickets to see Roxette at Day on the Green 😉
yes, agreed. dresses are very easy and you can get so much versatility from just one piece! you look very lovely, jodi. there is a serenity in your being that really comes through in these photos, you wear pregnancy well!
Thank you, Claire and Lucinda!
Claire, check out air bnb or stayz.com for great holiday houses. I'm guessing you're after a beachside location? If so, I recommend Avoca Beach or Terrigal – both locations have a great little town centre and a fabulous beach for families x
Thanks for the recommendations Jodi – have been checking air bnb but some of the towns didn't sound familiar. Yes, beachside is the aim! x
